FOUNDATION Awards 25 College Scholarships
The Kane County Farm Bureau FOUNDATION has awarded 25 college scholarships to local students. Recipients were recognized at a ceremony on April 12 at the conclusion of Touch-A-Tractor. These future agriculture industry leaders gathered at the Kane County Farm Bureau to pitch in as the public got a little taste of farm life. Foundation scholarships total over $25,000 for the 2015-16 school year.

Hundreds of families attend Touch-A-Tractor
Warm weather brought hundreds of local families out for the 10th Annual Touch-A-Tractor event, April 10-12 at Kane County Farm Bureau. Many showed support of farms and food by making donations to the KCFB Foundation for college scholarships and agricultural education. Tractors, farm animals, baby chicks, and of course the antique tractors and modern farm machinery were all dubbed event favorites by the kids. Many thanks to the dozens of volunteers for making it all possible.
